Chloe and Michael’s engagement session in the bustling metropolis of Chicago was nothing short of perfect. Set against the iconic skyline and busy streets, we first met outside of the Wrigley Building and then ventured along the riverwalk and quickly stopping when we found perfect pockets of light. This engagement session was one of my favorites from the year because Chloe and Michael were so easy going– it made for such a fun evening!
Let’s rewind to the beginning – Chloe and Michael’s story starts back in college, where fate brought them together over a warm Kirkland Light Signature beer at a house party on Washington Ave. Chloe, a student at Saint Mary’s, and Michael, hailing from Notre Dame, hit it off instantly, despite Michael’s initial blunder of failing to secure a dinner reservation on their first date.
But hey, every love story has its bumps, right? Despite the rocky start, Chloe and Michael’s relationship blossomed over the years, taking them on countless adventures across states and continents. From Europe to Florida, and everywhere in between, they stood by each other through thick and thin, growing closer with each passing day.
Fast forward to July 2nd, 2022 – a momentous day that marked the next chapter in Chloe and Michael’s love story. On the sandy shores of Miller Beach, Indiana, Michael got down on one knee and proposed to Chloe, completely surprising her with his meticulously planned proposal.
It was a moment of pure magic, a testament to Michael’s unwavering love and dedication to Chloe. And as they embraced against the backdrop of the rolling waves, their journey came full circle, from that fateful first meeting to this unforgettable moment of commitment and devotion.
Now, let’s talk about their engagement session in Chicago. Despite the windy conditions (after all, it is the Windy City!), Chloe and Michael were an absolute delight to photograph. Their fun-loving spirits and genuine connection shone through in every frame, capturing the essence of their love amidst the city’s bustling energy.
And here’s the best part – after the session, Chloe and Michael even invited me out for a glass of wine to celebrate! It was a wonderful opportunity to toast to their love and hear more about their incredible journey together.
