Jeanette + Parkers Pokagon State Park engagement session was a complete dream! Lake James has a special connection for Jeanette, so Pokagon State Park was the perfect fit for their engagement session. Her family lives on the lake, and they have many memories there. What may be hard to tell is that these were taken in early February– and while we were hoping for snow, it was 53 degrees outside and so windy! So we were searching for leftover snow, and spots where the wind wasn’t too brutal! With all that said, I’m so excited with how these turned out, and these two could not have been more sweet and kind.
Have you ever met someone that you feel like the conversation just comes so easily? For Jeanette and Parker, that is exactly how it was for them when meeting for the first time. They were set up by a coworker friend, and they met at a local restaurant where they sat and talked for four hours straight. From then on it was just one perfect date after another and they not only fell in love but became best friends quickly.
Parker asked Jeanette to marry him a little over a year after that first date. They are now planning a Fall wedding this year. I cannot wait to celebrate with them!
