When I think back on Molly + Adam’s Union 12 wedding day, I will always remember their genuine love and how much these two were celebrated by friends and family! Their vows spoke of such adoration for each other, and made us all laugh at the same time! Throughout the day, Adam was constantly telling Molly how beautiful she was. Their love for each other and the love they have for their family really stuck out to me.
Molly and Adam met at a bike festival for a charity called Le Tour De Fort in June 2018. Molly’s cousin, Sarah, knew Adam from them attending Purdue University. She called him the morning of and asked him to come join them. 15 minutes later they were on their way to pick him up with his mom’s bike. After talking to each other for the first time, they realized how much they had in common and they instantly gravitated towards each other and have been inseparable since!
In March 2019, Adam brought Molly to his family’s property where several members of his family and extended family live. They were supposed to be “seeing his grandma.” When they got to his parent’s house, there were bikes set up outside. He had explained that they were going on a bike ride. They jumped on them and rode to his grandparent’s pond. When they got to the pond there was a blanket laid out with candles and Keith Urban playing (their first date being a Keith Urban concert). They talked about their future, and then he got down on one knee and proposed! They grabbed their favorite bottle of wine and celebrated!
As the wedding day approached, there were some bumps in the road when the world epidemic, Covid-19, made its way into the United States. With shutdowns and many people getting ill, there was some worry that a June wedding wouldn’t be feasible. Reluctant and nervous, but still hopeful, they held on to their wedding date in hopes that things would turn around. Thankfully, the State of Indiana opened up just in time for them to have a FULL celebration with all of their friends and family! And, it was quite the celebration!! Friends and family crowded the dance floor and danced their hearts out! It was so much fun to see so many people together again celebrating two people who are so deserving of the celebration!! Their beautiful Union 12 wedding day will be one that I remember for a long time!
I absolutely adored getting to know Molly and Adam over the past year, or so. They truly are wonderful people and I know they have many more years of happiness ahead of them! A huge congrats goes out to the new Mr. + Mrs. Killion!
