Albums… sure you could print an album on Shutterfly. Girl, I’m with you. I’ve definitely been there, and thought, ‘yes! I can save some money this way!’ Especially when that coupon code just popped up in my email inbox. Cha-ching! While I am totally onboard with getting the best deal, I’m writing this post because I 100% believe that making an investment into a high quality album is worth the extra cash. I’m going to keep this short and sweet, and let you know why Legacy Albums are worth it! Keep scrolling.
Albums are the best BANG for your buck.
You’ve invested a lot into your images, and now you want to show them off. Albums are the best way to show off a variety of images to tell the WHOLE story from your wedding day, or session. When you print a canvas, or frame a picture, you’re only showcasing one moment of the day. These albums make stunning coffee table decor, and will be within arms reach from all of your guests that come to your home. They tell the FULL story by showcasing multiple images, and you will be able to relive your wedding day, or session, from start to finish.
High Quality = Lifetime Return
I’ve purchased those Shutterfly albums, and I’ve had numerous pages come loose and fall out. Just being real here! Sorry, Shutterfly! When purchasing a Legacy album through myself, you are making an investment into a high quality album that you will be able to pass down for generations to come. Decades from now, your great grandchildren will be able to grab this album, and live out the story of your wedding day with each turn of the page. As long as you are taking care of them, i.e. keeping them away from sticky toddler hands and spilled water, these albums will last years, and years.
Legacy Albums are fully designed by me. You get to decide which images are on each page, and how each page will look. We will work together on this, so that it turns out exactly how you would like. I will draft the first mock-up of the design, and from there, we will fully customize it to your liking.
There are multiple options for cover design. You can choose from velvet (my fav!), leather, and linen. At the time that I’m writing this, you cannot find velvet albums anywhere else! Trust me, I’ve searched high and low to find these products. You can choose to upgrade to an acrylic front (also, my fav!) which showcases a beautiful image on the front cover of your album. There are multiple color options. This is truly a customized experience. You can also have your name, or custom text (i.e “Happily Ever After”) etched into the design cover.
And did I mention the pages are thick… like really thick! 1/16″ thick. That may not seem like much, but when it’s in your hands…you can feel the difference. It’s not a flimsy piece of paper!
If you would be interested in learning more about Legacy Albums, feel free to reach out to me. I’m happy to email you a guide which includes multiple album examples, cover design options, and pricing options. I also have multiple examples at my studio, if you would like to see and feel them in person. These are available to new, and past, clients! It will literally be like Christmas when these show up at your door step, I promise!
