I wish Madisen and Cale could get married every weekend! That is how much I loved working with these two. Their Kruse Plaza wedding was seriously everything you would dream about. They both poured themselves into planning this beautiful day. Putting countless hours into making everything come together perfectly… and it paid off! Madisen had a beautiful vision and Cale supported her through it all. They make the perfect team, and I’m so excited that they get to live a beautiful life together.
After dating for a year and a half, Cale knew that it was time to propose to his best friend. He had the perfect plan, but when he discovered that Madisen was starting to get suspicious… he had to get creative! Madisen had suspicions of an upcoming proposal when she accidentally came across some text messages between him and his mom while she was perusing his MacBook. Shortly after her discovery, her suspicions grew stronger when her mom asked her if she wanted to go get her nails done with her grandma. She had gone out to dinner with a couple of girlfriends from high school a couple of weeks before and told them she was feeling suspicious about it. This conversation continued later on that night through texts, and come to find out, Cale had looked through her phone reading all the messages. He knew she was catching on, so he had to make her believe otherwise.
Later, when Madisen asked him what their plans were for the weekend, he said “nothing really, just Father’s Day dinner with my family.” Madisen knew Cale wouldn’t propose in front of his entire family, so she began to believe that she may have been overlooking everything.
That night, Cale asked Madisen if she would come with him to help move some patio furniture at his parent’s house. When they arrived, they walked down the hill and she stopped halfway thinking the door was going to be locked. When he realized she wasn’t behind him, he turned around and urged her to come. With a roll of her eyes, she walked all the way down the hill. They walked past his house and did not turn to go towards the basement. She was slightly confused but then started to catch wind of what might be going on. With a smile, he said, “you know we aren’t going to move furniture right?” They walked out a little further and he proposed!
Their wedding at Kruse Plaza was filled with so many memorable moments. Her dad gave the speech of a lifetime, as he told stories about his baby girl. Everyone in the room was in tears. To heartfelt toasts from family + friends, to an endless night of dancing, I’d say their wedding day was everything they could have asked for, and more!
