At the time I’m writing this Lyndi + Adam have already welcomed their baby girl, and I’m currently editing her newborn photos. If you can’t tell, I’m in major catch up mode when it comes to blogging! I’m embracing busy season with a whole lot of grace and tons of coffee.
Lyndi + Adam met up with me at Foster Park, located in Fort Wayne, for their maternity session. They were only weeks away from meeting their little girl, and anxiously awaiting the moment they would get to hold her for the first time.
There is something extra special about becoming first-time parents. Life is inevitably about to change, and you can’t quite put a finger on what that will look like. There’s a ton of anticipation, planning, prepping, and (let’s be honest) nerves…. but when that little one arrives, it’s nothing but an overwhelming sense of love. Without a doubt, there are the tough moments with having a newborn…but mostly love. A love that is so consuming that it makes getting through those tough moments worth it, and not as trivial.
It was forecasting rain the day of the maternity session, which ended up holding off. We were so incredibly thankful because Lyndi thought that she could be scheduled to have her c-section as early as the following week. We had a gorgeous night, without a drop of rain in sight.
A big congrats to Lyndi + Adam! It was an honor to capture this season in their life. I cannot wait to share with you the photos from their baby girl’s newborn session! This time around, hopefully blogged within reasonable time! š
