Annalise + Fernando’s Allen County courthouse wedding could have been written in a fairytale. I’ve never witnessed two people so in love, and so happy to be celebrating their big day with family and friends. Many people came a long distance to see them be wed, from many states away, and many from Mexico. It was amazing seeing so many different people from different cultures unite to celebrate this happy couple!
The ceremony took place inside of the Allen County Courthouse’s lobby which has a beautiful rotunda. The building is full of beautiful green marble columns and carrara marble walls, which perfectly matched the bridesmaid’s dresses. Every detail was so well thought out. As Annalise rounded the corner with her father to walk down the aisle, to her surprise, Fernando began singing “Ava Maria.” Annalise’s reaction was priceless, and Fernando could not have sung it more beautifully. The ceremony was filled with rich traditions, including the American tradition of the unity candle, and the Mexican tradition of the couple being placed in a lasso.
The night ended with good food, salsa dancing, and a fun sparkler send-off. I can’t thank Annalise + Fernando enough for allowing me to have a small part in their wedding day. It was a privilege to witness and capture every moment of it. I truly feel like I become friends with every couple that I work with, and Annalise + Fernando are no exception. I couldn’t more happy for them, and I wish them nothing but the very best in the future. Congratulations to the new Dr. + Dr. Aguirre!!
